Åland - Two Short Nights film festival
Åland is an artistic impression of the relationship between the inhabitants of the Åland Islands in Finland and the population of Eurasian Wolves who are returning to the archipelago for the first time in over a century.
The score was written and performed by Jay Auborn, recorded and mixed in-house by producer Noah Feasey Kemp. 7 cellos are overlaid, each performing improvised parts created using notes selected by chance (in the tradition of John Cage) from Åland’s national anthem ‘Ålänningens sång’
